When it comes to the VenueHub staff Christmas party - ordinary just won’t do. We work with over 850 venues in Hong Kong so the pressure is always on to reward our team with a truly memorable experience!
This year we selected one of the few genuine one-of-a-kind venues in HK - Tikitiki Bowling Bar in Sai Kung. It’s not often you go to a venue and are completely blown away – but I can assure you, you will at this place. Dispelling any lingering memories of the dingy, sticky-floored, tacky bowling bars you visited in your childhood – this award-winning venue is on a completely different level. Spanning an incredible 22,000 square foot (where can you find that kind of footprint in HK!?), Tikitiki features state-of-the-art bowling lanes, two bars, three outdoor terraces, a live band lounge, buffet area and even a fine dining restaurant headed up by head chef Peter Lim (formerly of The Four Seasons Hotel). Each service area has its own personality and vibe, with the atmosphere and interiors being influenced by Polynesian culture and mythology.
Tikitiki Bowling Bar - A true one-of-a-kind venue
Tikitiki is perfect for events, big or small, but also caters to walk-in customers. Each of the ten pristine bowling lanes has private seating sections, ideal for enjoying drinks and food in your group. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to see our company logo on the big screens. HK’s F&B sector is notoriously competitive, so venues that can differentiate themselves by allowing innovative customisation of their space and the event experience will always stand to benefit. It’s refreshing to see this becoming more commonplace in Hong Kong and hopefully VenueHub has helped to change the culture in this respect. Corporates in Hong Kong are increasingly looking to change it up from the usual hotel ballroom experience and often turn to VenueHub to discover more unique options. It’s also great to see corporate clients willing to host more events away from Central. Tikitiki will actually arrange the transport for your group, another clever perk designed to remove any hassles. Indeed for events, there is zero planning required by the customer - Tikitiki’s events team takes care of it all!

Head Chef Peter Lim (formerly of The Four Seasons) explains his F&B plans to VenueHub CEO Adam and Tikitiki's events manager Helen
We started our evening at the Sea Dogs and Mermaid’s bar where Ari Rogers, Tikitiki’s friendly bar manager who plied his trade at Missy Ho’s and Sevva - served us some of his signature tropical cocktails which certainly didn’t disappoint! Indeed, this is a venue to visit even if you don’t want to bowl – the F&B on offer is fantastic and really good value. Whether you want a fine dining experience, or in our case, some bowling with drinks and snacks – Tiki has it covered. It’s also perfect for kids too but a place that adults can also enjoy in equal measure.
Moving onto the lanes, it’s very apparent that no cost has been spared and though I’m not a professional, it’s not an exaggeration to say you will find it hard to find a better quality bowling alley in the world. Friendly competition between our sales and tech teams meant for an exciting evening! Cocktails and canapes were served directly to us without us even needing to move. We finished off our evening by taking a drink in the lounge which had some great live music.

Tikitiki was developed to take bowling to a new level, an unparalleled party destination for both corporates and the general public. There is no doubt in our minds that they have achieved this, as evidenced by their award of “Best New Boutique Bowling Center” in an international publication. The ‘Tiki Experience’ was certainly a night to remember. We will be back soon!
